They train their boys (ụmụ-boi) and settle them at the end of their apprenticeship (Igba-boi), the boys will train other boys and the chain goes on and on. This brings about distribution of wealth in Igbo land, akụ ana agbasa. That’s the real Igbo money ritual.
But the boy commitment, honesty and hard work to his master. The Oga didn’t talk much on the 15m, but the effort put in place by the young man. This is a lesson for every young man out there to imbibed.
