Founder of ‘Ide Global Movement’ High Chief Dr. Azubuike Austin Ekweozor (Ide Umuawulu) on Sunday 14th August 2022 empowered the people of his community with five vehicles and cash gifts at his home town Umuawulu in Awka South local government area, Anambra state
Speaking with Journalists after the empowerment in an interview, High Chief Ekweozor said people thought he will abandon the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) after the primaries but he didn’t because politics is not a do or die affair.
Ekweozor who was an aspirant for Awka North and South federal constituency stated that he contested to change the lives of his constituents.
“Am a major stackholder in APGA, I can’t go to any other party. I made a promise to my ward executives when I was embarking on my political movement, that each quarters will have a shuttle and I have fulfilled it today.
“Am a philanthropist without sentiments. I have impacted and still impacting people’s lives. The reason I empowered my ward executives is to encourage to do more for the party.
Igwe Umuawulu, His Royal Majesty Dr. Joel Mmasuadechie Ekwuonwu (Ezeudo 2) while commending Ekweozor revealed that these is not the first time such empowerment is happening.
“I thank God for using him to touch lives. We have been looking up to see more individuals who will emulate his way of life because how we utilize the wealth that God gave to us matters. I believe God is very happy with him.
“He has build so many houses for widows and have also giving scholarship to many persons. If God give us ten more people like him Umuawulu will be better and I believe that God will still plant people.
“My prayer is that God will give him long life. good health and sound mind, wisdom, knowledge and understanding, prosperity and progress because what he is doing is beyond imagination. Igwe Joel prayed.
