An Ebonyi State born stand -up comedian, Onu Christopher said that it has become more effective, results- oriented empowering youths in the entertainment industry and such others where they have talents than in the conventional businesses.

He called on Governor Francis Nwifuru to diversify his investments in youths empowerment to empowering genuine and committed content creators and such others talented Ebonyi people with a view to availing the entertainment industry opportunities to advance their potentials and that of the State.

As opposed to negotiated recognition, Onu, popularly known as Tycobbkyle Comedy, said he did not believe in demeaning and cheap ways of raising fund for the projection and promotion of his brand,’1 don’t subscribe to sitting down,idling away time, begging from hand to hand; perhaps hoping that things will work out on its own accord; when I know what to do to earn a living legitimately”he said.

He revealed that he plans to reach out to business men, the government, the organized private sector, non-governmental organizations and other concerned parties for sponsorship of his brand in order to have his career on the upwardly mobile scale and accelerate its velocity to a globally competitive
realm.

He regretted that most content creators are frustrated because they lack the needed resources to hire and fund the hosting of renowned artistes for collaboration.

He gave an instance of his failed attempts to have audience with an incumbent Commissioner in his State to endorse a proposal of show-casing Ebonyi culture and Igbo at large in a movie in which many renowned artistes would have featured.
