Igbo bu Igbo, bikonu, let’s encourage our brothers, sisters, cousins, children, and wards to, aside from acquiring educational certificates (which is very important), also learn any of these hard skills: Plumbing, Welding, Painting, Auto Technician (Mechanic), Heavy Duty Driving (Crane, Forklift, Trailer, etc), Tiling, Brick Laying, Hair Dressing, Barbing, Computer Repairs, etc.

Equally, on the soft skill side: Software Engineering, Teaching (get a CELTA Certificate please), Nursing (start early), etc.

Don’t just be a TRADER ! .
Online Shops are already taking over.
Don’t just be a Graduate, be a Graduate with diverse skills.

As a Travel Consultant with a rich travel history, i can tell you that Igbos are finding it very difficult to survive outside the shores of Nigeria as a result of zero skill. The reason you see most of our guys engaging in illegal activities to survive out there.
The Yorubas are ahead as a result of their conscious efforts in ensuring that each child acquires hard skill alongside educational certificates.

Let’s push this message across all Igbo platforms.
The best investment is personal development.
Let’s help ourselves by learning useful skills.

Ndewonu !.
