Emmanuel Iwu Anyanwu, a respected elder statesman and also president of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, is being buried today Friday, November 1, 2024, in his hometown of Atta in the Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State.
Hope Uzodinma, The Governor of Imo State has received the body of Emmanuel Iwu Anyanwu, the President-General of the Igbo cultural organization Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, at the Government House.
Gov Uzodinma praised Iwuanyanwu as an exceptional leader who used his political skills to uplift and serve the people.
Late Iwu Anyanwu ‘s body arrived at Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport on October 30th of October.
